The DSPPA DSP211 Ceiling Mounted Subwoofer is ideal for any presentation venue, bar, or lounge where high-fidelity sound is needed. It is the perfect supplement to a ceiling-mounted 100V (High-Z) or low-impedance sound system. This particular speaker will form part of a presentation and speech venue, using four of these subwoofers along with six Optimal Audio UP6 Coaxial 6” ceiling-mounted speakers.

The system we designed for this venue emphasizes the clarity of the spoken voice; the addition of these four subwoofers significantly enhances the low end of the system while wireless presentations and videos are displayed.

The DSPPA DSP211 has a nominal frequency response of 50Hz – 200Hz according to the manual. We use an active speaker management system (Martin Audio DX04) to process the speaker further, utilizing our own crossover points and slopes with a very subtle EQ. The processing perfectly matches it to the Optimal Audio UP6 coaxial speaker, and the low-frequency output is phenomenal.
